"Matt Hickerson is an unusually intelligent individual whose viewpoints are always based on being well informed and well supported. I recently had him as a student in my Organizational Ethics class at Biola University, and was impressed by his continual high achievement in the class. The class is taught with a Socratic approach, and therefore relies heavily on class participation and critical thinking. In both his class comments and the eight papers he wrote for the class, he exhibited a depth of excellent thinking that was unusual. His fellow students came to regard him as someone to whom they listened and gave respect for his viewpoints. On a consistent basis, he provided unique input, defended his positions well, yet also was respectful and civil when hearing contrary viewpoints. I believe Matt would be an excellent addition to any workplace or community in which he chooses to participate."
